To prepare: For this Assignment, you will evaluate existing school-wide expectations and create a Behavioral Matrix for your own school setting.

Direction: Write a 2– page paper that includes the following Part 1 & Part 2

Write 1- paper includes Part 1:  Explains the strengths of the Sample Behavioral Matrix.

Then, provide recommendations for changes to the matrix. Support your recommendations with specific references to the Learning Resources and outside resources.

Write 1- paper includes: Part 2: Your principal asks you to join a positive behavior support committee.

This committee is, charged with the task of creating a Behavioral Matrix for your school. In written form, complete the following below:

  1. Explain any current school-wide behavior expectations your school currently has in place and describe what works well and what does not. Then, compare your school’s behavior expectations to those found in your research.
  2. Complete the Behavioral Matrix Template, located in the Learning Resources, for your school. In your paper, explain why you chose the expectations you did and how they are designed to meet the diverse needs of your student population.
  3. Attach your completed Behavioral Matrix as an appendix to your paper
