Format of the Paper:

•4 Double Spaced& Numbered pages (excluding title page, cover page and references)

•Min 3 references together with the copies of material used

•APA Style especially at citing and referencing

•Proper use of Grammar

•Table and Figure in APA style formatting

 

• Find a tourism trade industry or journal article that discusses a future trend we need to anticipate in the global tourism industry related to marketing, management, or finance of a popular destination. Discuss why you think it is important and whether you agree or disagree with the authors predictions. You can combine your findings from your presentation.

•A total of 5double spaced pages (excluding references and cover page) of written work that relates to tourism industry trends must be completed by the end of the semester. (Students will select their own topic under the guidance of the course instructor) Each student will prepare an individual report.

Content of the paper:

•Find an article discussing a current trend in tourism for that destination. (It could be a possible trend for the future)

•Geographic Overview

•Brief History and Culture

•Sample Itinerary

•Stats about the popularity of the destination, etc…

From the syllabus: Areas to Cover:

Sections of the paper will include but not limited to: Introduction, Geographic Overview of the Region/Country, Current / Future trends, Summary and the learning experience after studying that particular topic.

Some major things to avoid:

•Do not forget to divide your work into chapters (Eg: Introduction, Conclusion Etc)

•Do not copy the words directly from the source. Give an explanation with your own sentences

•If you have an Appendix, make sure it has a title and its at the end.
