Part 1

The healthcare administration positions that I am actually interested are Human Resource Manager and Medical officer. The human resource manager is one of the vital positions that an organization cannot actually do without. His or her job duties include recruiting the training career development, he or she ensures that there compensation and benefits for the employees, he or she ensures that there is relationship of the employees, industrial relationship, ensures that employment laws are in order, he also ensures that there are compliance and disciplinary and also help in settling grievances. The medical officer is one of the administration posts that is majorly found in the healthcare, the duties of the medical officer in the healthcare include overseeing the medical care of the patients and he also oversees the functions that are performed by the medical staff. He or she may also participate directly I the care services, he or she can also help in accessing the diagnose needs and the plans of the action for the families and individuals (Bot, 2015).

The Human resource manager would actually work in the insurance company to ensure that there is proper coordination of the organization by placing the required and qualified employees to deliver the needed services; on the other hand, the medical officer could work in the Hospital to cater for the needs of the patients (Friberg, 2017).

The skills that are needed for the HR, in this case, includes recruitment skills, screening, must also have the skills about the relationship of the employees, he or she should have the skills scheduling the meetings and duties of the employees, must also have skills on the Human Resource Information Software and must also have the skills performance management. The medical officer should actually possess the following skills; patient care, data entry office equipment, maintains electronic medical reports, medical billing of the patients and also administrative support (Marmot & Sapol, 2014).

The qualities of the HR include; he must be able to organize the organization, must also ensure that he or she has got the HR ethics, proper communication, he must also be able to help in problem-solving and decision making, must also have the quality of leadership. The medical office must have the quality of caring for the patient, excellent communication, must also have the quality of organizing and finally must be present, visible and responsive (Miller & Cummings, 2017).

HR should have the certificate from the recognized University with the Bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration with at least five years experience or muster degree from the recognized university. Medical officer education must have a certificate of the bachelor degree from recognized university and must also be licensed as a qualified medical officer (Sanford, 2015).

HR must be computer literate this will help him or her to manage the system well since most of them, must also have the HR management technology which is also essential. The medical officer, on the other hand, should have healthcare technology and also should have computer knowledge (Bot, 2015).

 

For one to begin working as HR officer in the organization he or she is supposed to have five years work experience because will enable him or her to ensure that he performs the tasks well, while the medical officer may need two years work experience in the field of healthcare (Friberg, 2017).

Human Resource manager earns an average of $69,044 and the highest one earns $140,000 while the least one earns around $35,000. On the other side, the medical officer earns $ 27,864 per year that is actually the typical salary of the Human Resource manager and the Medical officer who is working in the healthcare organizations (Marmot & Sapol, 2014).

Part 2

The three titles of the jobs include the; health care consultant, we also have the clinic administrator and finally health care administrator.

The health consultant should actually pose the following skills; we should be able to conduct the healthcare analysis and critically think, he must have the mathematics skills to make budgets for the healthcare, revenue, he must also have active listening and strong communication skills. The clinic administrator has skills such as the, they should be able to have previous medical office experience, have deep understating of the ethics of confidentiality, should also have strong communication skills, must have the customer service experience and finally the knowledge of the rationale of appropriate patient care. The healthcare administrator has got the following skills; must be able to run the health care successfully, he or she must also have good communication skills, leadership skills and business skills. The skills that I need to develop in my case are strong communication skills because I have realized that I don’t have strong speaking skills and also leadership skills (Bot, 2015).

The best way for me to develop the skills that I don’t have currently is actually to ensure that I attend most of the seminars and conferences that will actually help me to gain courage, I have realized that I don’t have the skills of strong communication, when I actually attend conferences it will help me to gather knowledge that is actually necessary for me to gain the strong communication skills, on the other hand, I have also realized that when I attend leadership seminars will actually help me  to develop the leadership skills that are required (Friberg, 2017).

I don’t have the work experience for the each of the position that is actually needed in the jobs that have been described above, the best thing that I am actually planning to do is to offer myself to work as volunteer because this will help me to gain the best work experience that is needed for me to actually reach level, most of the job entry experience but I have realized that once I dedicate myself to work as volunteer for that period of time I will be able to have the required experience which is needed (Marmot & Sapol, 2014)

Part 3

One of the hospitals that I have actually chosen in this case is called Cleveland Hospital, it is one of the Hospitals that are found in the US that was actually introduced in the year 2010 to help in building the strong base for the engagement and committed caregiver for the patients (Miller & Cummings, 2017).

The mission statement for the Cleveland Hospital is to be the world’s leader in patient experience, clinical outcomes, research and also education (Sanford, 2015).

What actually interested me about this particular organization is the administrative structure of this Hospital and how they actually care for the patients’ within the facility. I came to realize that the Cleveland Hospital has got some of the best Doctors, research scientist and best support staffs who are making sure that the patients and well taken care of and also ensure that patients are provided with enough education on how to prevent some of the diseases that might affect them. They also handle the patients with a lot of care and provides for their needs without delay and this is actually encouraging since they provide for them better services which are rarely found in most of the hospitals, and this means that the administration is actually active and providing the best services for both the employees and the patients (Marmot & Sapol, 2014).

The skills and the experience that I can actually contribute to the success of Cleveland Hospital is actually about good leadership which is the pillar for the success for any organization because when there is good leadership there will be good management hence good development, the other thing is about good communication skills when there is strong communication in the organization the organization will be successful since each and everyone will be fed with the relevant  information which is need from the relevant authority and promotes smooth running of the activities (Bot, 2015).
