Read the selection from Sobchack and Sobchack’s “Genre Films: The Western” in the Supplementary Readings (course e-reserves). Select and screen one film from “List A” and one from “List B” below:

After viewing the movies, write two separate profiles for each of the two films you have chosen. Each profile should consist of Parts 1 (summary) and 2 (analysis). First write a profile (with Parts 1 and 2) for the film from “List A”. Then write a second profile (with Parts 1 and 2) for the film from “List B “.
