Read the following discussion questions and post your initial response by Wednesday for full points. Return on a couple of other days before the Sunday due date and interact with a couple of classmates. Respond to any posters who have commented on your post and respond to the posts of others. • Mobile devices have recently emerged as a new and powerful platform that allows users to do everything from update their Facebook status to purchase stocks. It is important to remember, however, that apps are very much like any other software project. They must still be created on time, on a budget, and at a high level of quality to be considered a success for their creators. Developers have to build the same native app for multiple mobile platforms. Although developing for multiple platforms is a recurring problem that is not unique to the mobile world, the lack of proper development and analysis support in the mobile environment may increase the challenges. Based on your study this week, discuss the following:
      • Your understanding of the current state of mobile software engineering.
      • Your thoughts on future trends in mobile software engineering.
      • Your opinion of the use of open-source software to assist in the development of software.
