Way back in the 1980s that (intrapreneurship) became a popular word in the business world by those managers that wanted to interject the enthusiasm of small business into corporations. “Intrapreneurship refers to internal entrepreneurship (employee (individual or team) initiatives to undertake something new to help achieve overall organization goals)” Jones & George, 2016, Chp4). Organizations that utilize intrapreneurship empower employee creativity, innovation, and initiative. In these organizations, employees are rewarded for taking risks and trying new initiatives.
