Reader Response Paper – Prep, and Into the Wild
Choose two people or characters from two different books whom you believe would have something in common, see the world similarly, or something to say to one another. In a reader response paper, write about the ways in which these characters might interact and relate to one another. What topics might they discuss, what beliefs might they share? Remember that a reader resonse paper is not as formal as an academic paper. You may use the “I” voice. Nonetheless, it is important that you demonstrate an understanding of the reading and clearly explain and support your reactions. Reader Response Papers are graded on the depth and seriousness of your response to the literature. Papers should be no more than 600 words or roughly two and a half pages. Please use MLA formatting.
