Mary Shelly Frankenstein
What To Look For-Themes
Although it is a horror story, Frankenstein has a lot to say about humanity and society (like all the best horror stories!). I will ask you to focus on the following theme• Companionship vs. Loneliness: Characters tend to want companionship but are driven to loneliness. What are examples of this? What makes them solitary? Is it something in their personality or actions? Does anyone find true companionship?
For reference I am attaching a link to a free copy of the book. Also, tis will be part of a larger paper so hopefully I can use the same writer to expand on if for the longer paper.
