A 75 year old woman is admitted to your unit (hospital ward) for avaluation after being found in her apartment unconscious on the floor. She is now awake but moving slowly. Her vital signs are within normal limits.
In the hospital. It is unrealistic to expect to be able to spend an uninterrupted 60-90 minutes with a single patient performing an admission with complete assessments of all systems.
