Communicating Chemical Concepts

Purpose: Hone your communication and organizational skills while applying your knowledge of chemistry.

Why: To better understand a topic. If you can teach someone else than you probably know your stuff.

Who: This is an individual project.

Requirements:

  • Research your pre-determined topic (or topics to fill the time) to create a final product that will be presented online to the class.
  • The final product may be a PowerPoint narration and/or a video. (If you have another idea please let me know your idea and I will decide if it is suitable.) You do not need to record your person, but we will need to be able to hear you speak.
  • Presentation will be submitted through blackboard. They will be graded according to the rubric attached. This includes professionalism (read the rubric to understand what is required to receive full credit).
  • Presentations should be between 5-10 minutes long.
