Looking at Plate Tectonics on Google Earth. This is an exercise looking at plate tectonic features using Google Earth. Google Earth is a free program that you can download from the internet. You will need to be connected to the internet to use the satellite imagery. You will need this Handout (explains how to download, etc) and this kmz file, which will allow you to display geologic data within Google Earth.
