1. Creating Emotion (6 marks):

Choose any 3 emotions from Plutchiks Wheel below. Depict your chosen emotions visually in ONE PICTURE by using space, shape, line, colour, contrast, etc. The picture and emotions must have personal meaning for you. This needs to be your own creation.Your creation should be on a standard 8½ x 11 page of paper, stapled into your assignment, immediately following your title page. Note: Questions below must be completed AFTER YOU FINISH your picture.

2. Creative Process (6 marks):

Describe your creative process as it relates to completing your picture (above), using the 3-step sequence described on page 214 of your text (preparation, production, evaluation). Give specific personal examples.

3. Rationale (6 marks):

4. Examples of Your Creativity (6 marks):

List the 6 resources of creative people found on Table 8.2 (p. 217) of your text. For each resource:

A. describe how it applies to you, personally

B. give a specific example of a past situation/event in which you used that resource.

5. Personality Trait Analysis (6 marks):

See the personality traits list under œLow Scores and œHigh Scores to the right of œBig 5 Traits on page 328 of your textbook. Based on this list, select 5 of your own major personality traits. Pick one trait from each of the categories (OCEAN). USE the chart provided to complete the required information. See the example provided on the sample chart on page 4 below. You may complete the chart by hand (please print), or using a word-processor (preferred).

Additional Information:

· Organize your assignment as follows:

o title page (name, assignment title, section, professors name, date submitted),

o visual component,

o written component, including chart (using section headings numbered 1-5, as above.)

· Written component must be double-spaced in 12-point font, spell-checked and proofread.

· Assignment will be evaluated on creativity, effort, content, depth of analysis, attention to detail, organization of information.

· Full marks will be given for specific examples only (the sample chart contains one example.)

· Up to 10% will be deducted for spelling and grammar problems.

· Late Penalty:

o A deduction of 5% per school day.
