Gerardine Wurzburg’s documentary follows the life of a young boy, Peter, who has the Down syndrome that attacked him in his transition from elementary to middle school and finally into the real world. Wurzburg’s informs us of the challenges that Peter, his teacher, and his peers go through as a result of his disabilities. Throughout the documentary, Peter is confronting one challenge after another. For instance, he exhibits depression and is always withdrawn from the other students. Nonetheless, Wurzburg says that Peter class has tremendous growth as a result of his presence.

The value of his work experiences and training is important to make his life better. This is because he will be able to live independently and take care of himself.
